The upcoming Security Expo in Dallas is one such instance where security companies get the opportunity to empower, educate and interact with other top security companies from around the world, and hear from acclaimed speakers in the security arena. This expo also gives industry professionals the chance to get involved in Councils and be exposed to an array of security job vacancies. This will be ASIS Internationals’ 63rd annual seminar and exhibits, and will be hosted from 25 to 28 September in Dallas, Texas.
The ASIS International 2017 Expo will be kicked off in unique Texan style. It will be hosted on Sunday 24 September from 19h00 to 22h00 at Gillys’ Dallas. There will be mechanical bull racing, armadillo races, live music and of course good food. This opening event is open to all attendees and exhibitors, and tickets are required.

There will also be an ASIS- hosted happy hour on Tuesday 26, from 16h30 pm to 17h30 pm on the expo floor. This is to increase your business connections and is a happy, interactive space to explore innovations and security solutions. It is a ticketed event and is included with All-Access Pass.
The International Security Expo boasts a long list of some of the best speakers in security. Amongst the speakers is the Vice President of Editorial Services of ASIS International, Teresa Anderson; Lieutenant Vincent Amadeo from the New York City Police Department; Regional Physical Security Program Manager James Alves from Amazon; and Kenneth Ribler, Managing Director of EyeSee Security Associates, to name just a few.
However, it is the presence of the 43rd president of the United States of America – former president George W. Bush – who is really set to be one of the big crowd pullers of the event as the keynote speaker on Monday 25th September at 8h30. Former president George W. Bush will be sharing insights on his eight years as president of the USA, and will be discussing his experiences with regards to the nature of public leadership and decision making, formal interaction with prominent world leaders, and his viewpoint on current domestic and international matters and problems.
The focus areas of the event will be directed to those working in investigations, the legal sphere, cyber security, crisis management, crime prevention/loss, information security, terrorism, and many other security areas.
